LOW GWP R290 REFRIGERANT
R290 heat pump is often called propane heat pump.
Thanks to the use of R290 refrigerant, traditional refrigerants such as R22 and R410A are not suitable for use in tropical regions, while R290 refrigerant has a unique adaptability to hot climates.
R290 refrigerant has a high thermal conductivity, large latent heat of evaporation, small molecular weight, good fluidity, low conveying pressure, and small compressor load, which can extend the service life of the compressor. The use of R290 refrigerant can save energy by about 30%.

DC Inverter Compressor
Compared to AC drive technology, the DC inverter speed control technology improves the matching of energy input to required energy output at any point on the heating curve, thus improving transmission efficiency and reducing noise and energy consumption of the compressor.
DC Inverter Fan Motor
With better dynamic balance and a reduction in turbulence related noise the heat pump series operating efficiency and noise production is greatly improved and reduced.

Uncompromised Low Ambient Performance
R290 units have very good performance under low ambient temperature, for example 4kw unit can make sure 100% Rated Output at -10°C ambient temperature.
Intelligent defrost logic is based on actual frost conditions considering multiple factors simultaneously. Avoiding common issues such as leaving frost unremoved, defrosting when not necessary, and incomplete frost removal. The logic has been extensively validated and proven through rigorous testing in simulated snowfall laboratories.
Higher leaving water temperature
Maximum leaving water temperature can reach 75°C by heat pump only, which will be ideal solution for retrofitting project, to replace gas boiler with radiator for space heating.
Environment-Friendly Design
Thanks to the high-efficiency twin rotary compressor, 25% larger evaporator, and plate heat exchanger, optimized refrigerant flow and air channel design, R290 air source heat pump can achieve A+++ energy efficiency rating for both 35/55°C water temperature conditions.
The R290 heat pump unit is capable of adjusting its capacity based on different electrical signals.
When receiving a free electricity signal, the unit will operate in boost mode to store heat in the DHW tank efficiency to balance the capacity output and power. When receiving a normal price signal, the unit will run with high consumption. When receiving a high price signal, the unit will operate in limited time and provide only space heating function.
Anti-freeze logic
The R290 air source heat pump incorporate an anti-freeze logic that activates when the water temperature falls below 5°C. The system will maintain the water temperature at around 15°C. In addition, the external anti-freeze valve will mechanically open when the water temperature drops below 3°C with an accuracy of ±1°C. This logic ensures the system avoids freezing damage and unnecessary drainage.

Cascade application
ECOWARM cascade function can maximum combine 16 units in one system, the smart cascade application distributes the load intelligently across up to 16 units according to the building real capacity requirements and also can realize the air conditioning / DHW hot water at the same time.
Hybrid application
R290 air source heat pump can be easily integrated with different types of boilers, third party boiler modbus programmable controller will determine to use gas boiler or heat pump or both together high efficiently according to the different conditions.
Smart grid function (SG ready)
The heat pump unit is capable of adjusting its capacity based on different electrical signals. Heat pump controller is designed to work with the "Smart Grid". With this feature, the pump automatically turns on to store surplus energy from the photovoltaic (PV) system to make the most of the cheaper electricity tariff.
Third party thermostat
Third party thermostats can be applied to control the R290 heat pump, single zone or dual zones can be controlled by third party thermostats according to the controller settings, clients can turn on/off the unit or change the different operation modes by using the thermostats easily.

The smart APP control brings a lot of convenience to users. Temperature adjustment, mode switching, and timer setting, remote OTA etc. can be achieved on your smart phone. Moreover, you can know power consumption statistics and fault record at anytime and anywhere.
Remote service platform: the remote platform defines a clear hierarchy that outlines each role's level of authority and access privileges within the unit. Clients can use the web page to monitor all the heat pump units sold in the market in real time, the running parameters of the units can be shown on the real refrigerant & water circuits which helps to understand what is happening to the system and help the clients to solve the problems high efficiently.
